DAVID T. COPENHAFER
David T. Copenhafer retired in January 2007 as Bowne's Director of EDGAR Services.
Since 1998 he led the company's efforts to design and implement systems and processes responsive to ongoing changes and upgrades to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR II electronic filing system used by Bowne clients to file critical compliance documents.
Prior to coming to Bowne, Copenhafer held a variety of senior management positions at the SEC from August 1983 until September 1998. During this period, he was instrumental in bringing EDGAR from the drawing board to the fully functioning system it is today. This experience gives him a special perspective on SEC issues. Copenhafer holds a Masters degree in International Relations from The American University in Washington, D.C.
