Carolyn Albertson

Carolyn Albertson is manager of statutory reporting for Bowne Insurance Services Division. She is actively involved in monitoring the activities of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and keeping clients abreast of the regulatory happenings. Albertson is also responsible for the updating of "mini-statements," or annual blanks which focus on changes to the NAIC forms which are highlighted in red. She has worked in the financial printing industry since 1983. From 1974 until 1983, she served on the staff of the NAIC as database manager. Albertson is a regular speaker at many insurance-related conferences and serves on many of the NAIC's Interested Persons groups. She serves on a number of committees for the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA) and is a regular contributor to IASA's Interpreter Magazine.

Morton Mann

Morton Mann is the Senior Advisor on Statutory Reporting for Bowne Insurance Services. Morty was with Colonial Penn Group Inc. for thirty years and held various titles with the group and its subsidiaries including Controller, Vice President, Treasurer and President. He is a past president of the Society of Financial Management (SIFM) and currently is the Statutory Committee Chair. He is a past member of the board of directors of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) and a past president of the Mid Atlantic chapter of the IASA. He is currently a columnist for the The Interpreter (IASA publication) with the byline "NAIC Update" and is the Chair of the IASA Textbook Committee. He is a frequent speaker at both national and regional insurance industry conferences and seminars. He has been on the board of directors of the Society of Insurance Examiners Educational Foundation for more than thirty years and currently serves as its Treasurer.
